Derry e dintorni

I decided to do this experience abroad in order to improve my English, speaking with local people and with my host family, but also to enjoy with my friends and to know the culture and the history of Ireland.

When I left Italy, I wasn’t afraid and I had no expectations about the journey, but as soon as I arrived there I immediately felt at home! My host family was really lovely and welcoming and I spent here the best moments of my life. I truly appreciated the English lessons too because we learnt English in a different way: we spoke a lot with the other classmates and the local people and we did many activities around the city.

I think Derry is a very nice city, suitable for students because it offers many activities: museums, parks, pubs, monuments, shops, a sport centre and many others. In conclusion it was a perfect way to conclude my holiday and I suggest to everyone to live an experience like mine because it opens your mind to different cultures, habits and people.
